Mimar’s expertise in Building Information Modelling (BIM) shines through in our work on Met 1 Residences, a stunning development located within KL Metropolis. This project has allowed us to demonstrate our capabilities in handling high-rise, luxury residential buildings and showcases the scalability and precision of our technical solutions.

Met 1 Residences, a tower boasting 55 floors and housing 616 residential units, features an array of sustainable architectural elements and energy-efficient engineering concepts. As part of our involvement, we’ve provided Level of Development (LOD) 400 BIM services, ensuring each architectural, structural, and mechanical element is modelled with the precise geometry and data necessary for construction.

One of our core responsibilities for this project is the effective coordination of BIM activities. By utilizing our extensive experience in BIM coordination, we’ve been able to facilitate successful collaboration between all project stakeholders. This has proven crucial in streamlining the construction process, minimizing the potential for errors and rework, and ensuring the timely completion of this impressive structure.

Our comprehensive clash detection and resolution process has played a significant role in this project. By identifying and resolving any conflicting elements in the model before construction, we’ve been able to eliminate potential construction issues and prevent delays, reducing costs and time overruns.

Additionally, we’ve provided detailed coordination drawings, giving a clear visual understanding of the complex systems within the project. This allows for more efficient communication between all parties involved, facilitating a smoother execution of the construction phase.
