The Multibay project, located in Kuala Lumpur’s vibrant center, demonstrates Mimar’s capabilities in leveraging advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies for complex, multi-faceted developments.

Our team’s effective BIM coordination led to a streamlined integration of architectural, structural, and MEP components. Through sophisticated clash detection techniques, we preemptively identified and resolved potential conflicts, mitigating on-site alterations and significantly reducing project time and costs.

Further contributing to the project’s efficiency, we developed detailed coordination drawings. These drawings provided the construction teams with a comprehensive visual guide, reducing errors and improving accuracy during the construction phase.

We also integrated 4D control and planning into the Multibay project. By adding time-related data to our BIM model, we enhanced the project’s scheduling accuracy, optimized the construction sequence, and visually represented the project timeline. This process contributed to clearer communication among stakeholders and facilitated accurate tracking of project progress.

Complementing our 4D approach, we utilized 5D estimations to incorporate cost data into the BIM model. This allowed for real-time cost estimation with every design change, enabling accurate budgeting and value engineering throughout the project lifecycle. This approach also offered stakeholders improved financial oversight and streamlined decision-making processes.
